For Nicole’s senior pictures we thought we’d escape the Santa Monica crowd at the Pier by having her session in the middle of the week but there ended up being a live concert and it was packed! Didn’t detur us of course and was actually pretty cool to have live music playing in the background during her session. Nicole was full of smiles but I loved her serious look too. I think the picture of her looking out over the pier might be on of my favorites of her. Congrats on your senior year Nicole and I wish all the best for you in your college adventures! 🙂
Made a quick stop on the Santa Monica Pier get the carousel in the background and then moved on to fake playing a game! 🙂
Cotton candy and the Ferris Wheel on the pier was of course a must! 🙂 We did have to use my pen as a stick for the cotton candy but hey it worked.

Right around this time in the shoot someone stole my flip flops after I took them off to go in the water a little. Grrrr… had to walk all the way back to the car with no shoes! It was all worth it though because I happen to love the colors in these low light photographs.
