Vintage Camping Anniversary: Mike & Carrie

Vintage Camping_0005

A couple months ago I visited my home town of Coquille, Oregon and really wanted to do a creative session of some sort.ย One of my high school friends ended up being free on the day I wanted to do a shoot so we packed up and put together a little vintage camping session at Laverne Park. I gathered items from around my Mom and Grandma’s house and then picked up some old books from a local thrift store. Carrie & Mike were amazing and were up for just about anything I suggested including crossing the river barefoot and making a fire even though it was not technically allowed at the time. They have been together for about 10 years now and have two of the cutest kids ever. Happy Anniversary you two!

Every time I visit I am reminded just how much I miss all the water and beautiful trees and can’t help but to take lots of pictures. I LOVE being outdoors and I could sit by the river for days enjoying God’s truly amazing creation.

Now I’ll go back to missing the river and gorgeous trees. ๐Ÿ™‚
