I enjoyed seeing the Adraino’s again to shoot their family Christmas photos. The last time I saw little Owen he was a tiny newborn and now he’s almost walking around! I also took Elizabeth’s maternity photos back in April and you can see the photos from that session here. One of the things I really enjoy about being photographer is being able to see a family grow year after year. Elizabeth and Michael are both teachers and keep busy with being involved in school activities. They wonderful people and I’m so happy for them and their new addition to the family.
Last week I met up with Andrea in Michael in Valencia to take their engagement photos. One of the best things about this couple is that they like to have their goofy moments with each other. Well maybe it’s mostly Michael being a goof and making Andrea laugh at him, but still it makes for a fun time with them. I am excited for their wedding in May and I know it’s going to be a fun and beautiful day.
This little girl was having a very serious day for her one year old session but her cuteness makes up for the lack of smiles. This was my first time using a canvas back drop and I love this tri-split that I bought from Bad Sass Backdrops. Abigail’s mom kept her occupied with ice pops before she busted out the Baskin Robbins ice cream cake. Right about then things got messy fast. Abigail’s Dad is overseas serving our county at the moment and I am super excited to very soon be capturing the homecoming of Daddy and I know Mommy and Abigail can’t wait to see him. It will be such a precious moment!
I’ve been able to photograph this little cutie throughout her first year. You can see her other sessions by clicking these links 9 Months , 6 Months , First Portraits. As a photographer it’s so cool to be able to capture these milestones of a new life and I just love seeing little ones grow. Nadia Cakes made her cake for this session and I got the frame with a chalk board insert from The Organic Bloom (I’m in love with Organic Bloom frames). Enjoy the photos!
This post is a bit more on the personal than most posts as the girl in these photos is family! Meet my sister, Jessica. Jessica quiet at first, will laugh at all your jokes and has a sweet side to her believe it or not. You will also meet “bob” in these photos, he is Jessica’s new goat friend. Jessica’s senior pictures were taken in the lovely state of Oregon over the summer. I love every chance I get to go home, enjoy the fresh air and be surrounded by TREES! Yes, there are trees in this world that don’t look like cactus’. Congrats Jessica on being a senior this year! Love you!
