Last week I met up with Andrea in Michael in Valencia to take their engagement photos. One of the best things about this couple is that they like to have their goofy moments with each other. Well maybe it’s mostly Michael being a goof and making Andrea laugh at him, but still it makes for a fun time with them. I am excited for their wedding in May and I know it’s going to be a fun and beautiful day.

We stayed local and went to Palmdale, California and found a nice area with some great light and hallways with arches.

I Had a great time getting to know Melodie and Jayson during their session. Since I’ve only spent time around Melodie while she was coaching a volleyball team if was funny at first seeing her be all giddy with Jayson. They are such a cute couple!

So happy for you two!

Corey is in the Army and took a short leave to come see Joy here in Lancaster and get their engagement pictures done. The lovely 100 mph freezing winds seemed to just make their session a little bit more fun and forced us to get creative with trying to keep Joy’s hair down and Corey’s fingers from going numb. Congrats Joy and Corey, it was great getting to know you two!

Towards the end I had them jump on the playground equipment for a few quick photos and they did this cute little position on the bridge.  More photos to come soon!

Julee and Travis have dated for several years and now have plans to tie the knot! I couldn’t be happier for them! Travis likes to tease and Julee likes to laugh so they are perfect for each other. I had a great time with them and really love the fact that they, along with Tommy and Brittany treated Eric and I to Chick-fil-a after the session. Definitely made our tummies happy. Happy for you guys, congrats!!

While at the Ventura Beach Marriott for a retreat we headed down to the pier to do a little back to back engagement session with two couples. Part 2 of this post will follow soon. The rocky shoreline wasn’t so easy to walk on but we made it down there and had such a fun time. Even got a little wet!! (On purpose of course.) The magic word to make them smile was to say “cotton candy” but you would’ve needed to be at the retreat to understand that. All that matters is we had a good time laughing and got some great shots. We are so happy for you guys and wish you God’s best!
