Family Portraits: The Falvey’s
This military family welcomed their first kiddo into the world 6 months ago and wanted to get some family/6 month photographs taken. They so love their little girl and it was so much fun to photograph them. We even got to talk a little bit about being a photographer as Courtney has an interest in possibly becoming one. Anytime Session: Carrizosa Family
We went far west in the Antelope Valley for this family session! The day started out with rain when we left the house but thankfully it stopped just in time and we were able to see a full rainbow as we arrived at the location for the shoot. Family Photos at Robinson Ranch Golf Club
Last week we braved the 100mp winds and freezing weather for the Chappell Family photos at Robinson Ranch in Santa Clarita, CA. We did manage to find a couple areas around the club house that were out of the wind so we didn’t have hair flying everywhere the whole time.

Family Photos at the Getty
Several weeks ago my husband and I met our good friends Jacob and Sara and their family to take family photos at the The Getty in Los Angeles, California. Since Jacob and Sara are good friends of ours naturally we were excited to shoot their family. Their two boys are the cutest little rascals! Time flew by and it started to get dark but we hardly noticed because we were having such a great time with them. Here a are a few photos from the session. Thanks Jacob and Sara for the fun time!

One big happy family!
The Bullock’s are from Georgia and their “ya’ll” and “ain’t” talk was a sweet reminder of our family back in Virginia. The bullocks were recently here in California for Doug’s college graduation and wanted to get some family photos as a gift to their mom for Mother’s Day. Markie, their oldest son and his wife Christy are starting an orphanage in Mexico. Debbie and I met in college and I was one of her bridesmaids back in 2005. Debbie and her husband Alan live in Georgia and love serving at their local church. Doug and his wife Amber recently moved to Colorado where they serve on staff at a Front Range Baptist Church.
Although this family is not so close on the map they certainly are very close in each others hearts. It was a joy to take their family photos and spend a little time with them. They are a genuine and beautiful family.

Gibbs Family: Anytime Session
To say the least I absolutely love this family! I met Janelle while we were in college and we’ve been best buds ever since. We were both from opposite ends of the great state of Oregon and to make a long story short we ended up finding out that her dad and my uncle knew one another quite well. Janelle went to school with my cousins and Janelle’s dad had worked with my uncle on construction projects. What a small world! Jonathan, Janelle and their son Josiah now live in Florida and while they were out visiting last week we got together for a little family shoot at the park. Thanks for the fun time Gibbs Family!! Love you guys!

My favorite
We gave Josiah blueberries to keep him happy for the second half of the session so I had to get pictures with his mouth closed because it was fill with blueness.
Blueberries all gone now. I was holding his favorite book full of trucks and tractors to get a good smile. He loves tractors!
Dada threw him up in the air a few times but Josiah wasn’t too sure about going too high.
