Family Session: The Adriano’s

I enjoyed seeing the Adraino’s again to shoot their family Christmas photos. The last time I saw little Owen he was a tiny newborn and now he’s almost walking around! I also took Elizabeth’s maternity photos back in April and you can see the photos from that session here. One of the things I really enjoy about being photographer is being able to see a family grow year after year. Elizabeth and Michael are both teachers and keep busy with being involved in school activities. They wonderful people and I’m so happy for them and their new addition to the family.

Newborn Twins: Caylee & Carter

This shoot was my first newborn twin shoot and I was extremely excited for it. Patricia contacted me originally to take her maternity but as things tend to not go how we plan she ended up needing to wait until after the twins were born for pictures. These two precious babies truly are Christmas miracles! Caylee and Carter are a boy and girl, and Carter’s lungs are not healthy enough yet so you’ll see him with oxygen on in the pictures. I say he was being a good big brother and giving his sister more nutrients while still inside mommy. This family is beautiful and if you think of them say a prayer as Carter is still having some health struggles that they are learning more about and continuing to manage.

Family Portraits: The Beeson’s

Say hello to the Beeson family! I met up with Josh, Jen and their 3 kiddos in Santa Clarita to take their family pictures and loved photographing this family. They brought candy to bribe the kids and I’m pretty sure my husband was making a fool of himself standing behind me trying to get them to smile. Jen did awesome with picking out their outfits and they all looked beautiful! The girls had headbands and black lace rompers from Made with Momma Love. Senior Portraits: Christina

This is another senior portrait session that I shot while in Oregon this summer. Meet my favorite niece, Christina. It’s hard to believe that she is a senior already. I was there the day she was born!! Does that mean I’m getting old? It’s hard to find the words for just how much I love my family and this girl. She definitely has a special place in my heart and I love her to death.

We went to the river for part of her session and found a few open fields as well and I’m loving the the yummy light we had. I loved spending time with the girls and telling my awesome jokes to make them laugh. Congrats on being a senior Christina and all the best as you follow God’s plan for your future. Love you!

Senior Portraits in Santa Monica: Alejandra

I met up with Alejandra and her family in Santa Monica, CA recently to shoot her 2012 Senior Pictures at the pier a couple weeks ago and had a great time! I loved getting to know Alejandra and her sweet family while taking pictures of them.

Alejandra was modest and shy at first but soon was making funny faces at me as she comfortable with having a lens in front of her. She is a beautiful young lady with a fun and sweet personality. Congrats on being a senior this year and God bless as you move forward with your future plans!

Senior Pictues at the Getty Center: Sarah

I had a great time with Sarah shooting her senior pictures at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, CA. One of my favorite parts of doing senior sessions is hearing about their plans for the future. Seniors are right in the middle of one of the most exciting times in their life and they are full of dreams, excitement and smiles! Sarah will be going pretty far from home for language school soon as she follows her passion and the Lord. Congrats on being a senior Sarah!

Santa Monica, CA Senior Pictures: Allison

Allison and I headed out to Santa Monica Pier recently for her 2011 High School Senior pictures. We ha a good time walking around the pier and finding cool little spots to stop and take pictures. We even got to see a crazy Jamacian man singing some pretty funny songs as people passed by on the sidewalk. Allison is beautiful young lady with a bright future! I had a great time taking her pictures, hearing about her future college plans and getting to know her a little better! Congrats to Allison on being a senior!

A Valentine’s Day Inspiration Shoot!

Last year I started a new tradition, a fun and creative Valentine’s Day inspiration shoot. It’s my one shoot a year where I get to be as creative as I want with the location and little details. I picked out all the decor and picked up the cupcakes from Nadia Cakes in Palmdale, CA. Below are several photographs from my Valentine’s Day inspiration shoot at the Ventura Beach Pier in Ventura, CA. I love the lace detail on the bride’s gown! (Thanks Luke and Sharon!
