I had a great time with Sarah shooting her senior pictures at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, CA.  One of my favorite parts of doing senior sessions is hearing about their plans for the future. Seniors are right in the middle of one of the most exciting times in their life and they are full of dreams, excitement and smiles!  Sarah will be going pretty far from home for language school soon as she follows her passion and the Lord.  Congrats on being a senior Sarah!

Allison and I headed out to Santa Monica Pier recently for her 2011 High School Senior pictures. We ha a good time walking around the pier and finding cool little spots to stop and take pictures. We even got to see a crazy Jamacian man singing some pretty funny songs as people passed by on the sidewalk. Allison is beautiful young lady with a bright future! I had a great time taking her pictures, hearing about her future college plans and getting to know her a little better! Congrats to Allison on being a senior!

Something I learned about these boys in the process of getting to know them before their session is that although they are twins they have different birthdays! Drew was born after midnight so his birthday the day after Josh’s. I guess this means that mom and dad can’t make them split their presents. :-)

For their senior pictures we headed out to the back side of the desert in the Antelope Valley and found a couple cool locations. Drew loves to play the guitar so we pulled it out a few times and Josh is into photography and piano.  I gave Josh my second camera to hold for some of the pictures and I’m pretty sure he would have liked to keep it. :-) Josh brought along his keyboard and lugged the heavy thing up the hill to get to the rocks where we were shooting.  Both of them were such a blast to shoot and I got my exercise in at the same time from climbing up the rocks. It was a win win photo shoot!  Congrats guys on graduating!

Climbed up in the rocks of the high desert for these boys! A little scared I was going to get a snake bite. Glad I didn’t.

We kinda got lost trying to find the spot we were looking for but no worries we finally found the spot. We’re pretty sure we saw someone famous shooting their next big movie at one of the movie sets in Lake LA on our little detour so it was all worth it. One of the reasons I love Jenny is because she’s just a fun person to be around! She’s always in good spirits and ready to laugh at or crack the next joke. Congrats on being a Senior this year Jenny! God’s got a great future in store for you and I can’t wait to see it unfold.

Right off the bat I knew this girl would be fun to photograph because she wouldn’t stop smiling. It was probably all because she really didn’t want to hear any of my cheesy jokes. I had the privilege of shooting her sisters wedding several weeks earlier and I was delighted when I got the email asking if I could shoot her Senior Pictures. We had a great time and she even brought her new puppy along!  Good luck on your first year of college Brittany!
