Anytime Session: Remi is 1 Year Old!
I met first met Remi and her parents last week when I went to their home to take pictures of Remi for her first birthday. What a cutie pie and such a sweet family! Like most girls who love chocolate, Remi had no problem chowing down on her chocolate cupcake from Nadia Cakes. One of Remi’s favorite characters is Chica from the Sprout PBS channel and it was so cute to watch her hug and love on her custom made stuffed toy of Chica made by Viola Studio on Etsy.com. Happy Birthday to Remi!

Now that’s what I call a good first birthday cake!! Remi’s cake was custom made by Nadia Cakes with all her favorite characters.

Joy & Corey: Engaged
Had a great time with Joy and Corey while shooting their engagement pictures at the park. Corey is in the Army and took a short leave to come see Joy here in Lancaster and get their engagement pictures done. The lovely 100 mph freezing winds seemed to just make their session a little bit more fun and forced us to get creative with trying to keep Joy’s hair down and Corey’s fingers from going numb. Congrats Joy and Corey, it was great getting to know you two!

Cute as a button: Jimenez Family
Last week I was able to take photos of this lovely family at a park in Palmdale, California. The mom, Abby is the owner of Nadia Cakes in Palmdale and I was absolutely delighted when she asked me to take their family photos. We had a great time and bribed the girls by telling them they could play on the playground after we were finished taking pictures. Naomi and Nadia thought that it was a great bribe but Maya wasn’t so sure. Thank you guys for the great time! You are a beautiful family!

Antelope Valley Photographer: Happy Valentine’s Day
Eric and I got together with Doug & Amber yesterday and did a mini styled Valentine photoshoot. I was inspired by the many blog posts I’ve been reading lately and wanted to put together a little something for Valentine’s Day. We had a fun time even when the wind made the balloons go crazy! I loved adding the extra elements to the photos. The beautiful flowers were from Fashion Flowers in Lancaster, CA and the delicious cupcakes were from Nadia Cakes in Palmdale, CA. Two businesses that I love. Thank you Doug & Amber, you guys were awesome!
