I recently worked on a styled wedding shoot with Emilee of Tasteful Tatters where we pulled inspiration from Anne of Green Gables but put our own twist on things for the modern bride. The Anne of Green Gables movie series are some of my favorite movies ever so needless to say I was a little excited about this project. We incorporated elements related to Anne of Green Gables like the feel of the location, invitation wording, bride’s red hair, vintage china, book quotes, raspberry petit fours, books and a small chalkboard slate.
Our goal was to give the shoot a simple, farm life and romantic feel with an emphasis on the marriage. We incorporated their vows by having custom stamps made and then stamping the vows on hankies for them to read to one another during the ceremony portion of the shoot.
The whole team was amazing to work with and I couldn’t have dreamed it up better. From the flowers to the dress it all came together so beautifully. Probably one of my favorite parts about this shoot was having a video done for it. I can’t quite put it into words but the video really just brought the whole shoot together for me. There’s something about seeing the motion and watching the details unfold that just makes me so happy. The different shots Larry got throughout the shoot were awesome! It’s perfect!
The vintage china from The Vintage Table Co. was to die for!
I can’t get enough of this lace wedding dress! Beautiful detail!
