I can’t believe we were just on that gorgeous beach! Sara and Robert’s destination wedding at the Jellyfish Restaurant in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic was stunning to say the least. Sara and Robert went to high school together but it wasn’t until more recent years that they started dating and given that these two love to travel they actually got engaged in Cabo back in late 2012. See their engagement session here.
For their wedding they were all about having a fun time and making sure their guests were having an amazing little vacay for their wedding. I loved how easy going and adventurous these two were! From the getting ready at the Hard Rock Hotel, to the ceremony and reception at the Jellyfish Restaurant and then their day after session back at the Hard Rock it was all beautiful to be part of and so much fun to photograph.
Sara & Rob, I am so excited for you guys and I’m missing that amazing beach terribly! Your love for your family & friends, each other and outgoing personalities made being with your and documenting your wedding day such a dream. I wish you both all the best and many more fun travel adventures for the future… Megan

Loved their invitation suite! It matched their destination wedding perfectly!
The different shades of blue for the bridesmaids dresser was so pretty and these earrings looked so perfect on Sara.
Seriously such a gorgeous ceremony site at the Jellyfish Restaurant!
I loved Sara’s bridal bouquet! Perfectly Caribbean and looked so pretty against the girls’ dresses!
One of the details in their wedding that I loved was this picture on Sara’s bridal bouquet. Her Grandfather had lived with her and her mother since she was 5 to help take care of her and her brother and sadly he passed away just a few weeks before the wedding. Sara wanted something special to remember him at her wedding so she attached a picture with a note from him that said “I’m here with you! Love, Papa”.
Why yes, we did get a photo with this guy and his beefy gun.
Sara looked absolutely amazing! I love this bridal portrait of her!
The Jellyfish did so well with all the details for the wedding. It looked soooo good!
And the there were fire dancers!
Here are a few from Sara & Rob’s day after session back at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Amazing!
Great job! Love how you captured the prettyness even though it wasn't sunny, and that cake 😉
