Ashley & James: Horse Ranch Engagement

I had an amazing time with these two durning their engagement session at the Tyler Horse Ranch in Lake Hughes, California owned by James’ family. I seriously could have spent the entire day walking around the property taking pictures. As a little girl I dreamed of having my own horse and although I never ended up getting one I did have a good friend that lived near a horse ranch and we often spent our summer afternoons with the horses. The old barn, farm equipment, horses and dirt roads reminded me of home. Loved it!

We walked around the property stopping here and there when we found spots we liked. Ashley’s dress was what she also wore for their first serious date to see a horse race at Los Alamitos. During the session Ashley had fun getting a running start when she jumped on James and he twirled her around in the old barn. It was so fun to capture these two laughing and having fun with each other. James totally had thing for the tractors so we made sure to get the tractors in the pictures too. 🙂

These two are so in love and it’s all over their faces! I could tell from the time we first met that they both thought the world of one another.  James is so sweet on Ashley and she couldn’t be more happy to be his girl. These two are the sweetest people and I could not be more excited for their wedding next year at the Tyler Ranch! Congrats on getting engaged you two!
