What I love about engagement sessions is that there is no real pressure in worrying about the next thing on the schedule like on a wedding day. I think I could have photographed these two all day! El Matador was absolutely gorgeous. I had never been there before and it sure didn’t disappoint. We walked along the edge of the water and stopped along the way as we found good spots to stop and take photos.
Bethany and Beau had their first date in September last year while in college and knew pretty quickly that they wanted to get married. Beau surprised Bethany this last Christmas and showed up in her family’s living room on one knee! What a sweet surprise! I am so very excited for you Bethany & Beau and all God has planned for your future as husband and wife! Thank you for allowing me to photograph the beginnings of your love story!
The rocks at El Matador Beach are so pretty and were perfect for this engagement session.
I love to get little details like just the holding of hands. There’s something special about the small moments and details.
I think anyone would agree that standing on a rock with your fiance and the waves crashing around you is a pretty cool moment to have pictures of. The rocks at El Matador beach made it easy to get photos like these.
The photo below I think is one of my favs. 🙂
Another favorite! Ahhh, that sweet sweet Malibu light!
Just as the sun dips below the horizon you get the most gorgeous colors in the sky! So dreamy and absolutely gorgeous for this engagement session.
Megan, these are so beautiful! Romantic, dreamy, and effortless. <3
